Information about In-Person Worship Gatherings at the YMCA

We are so excited that many of us will be able to gather in person this Sunday at the Y for worship. And we are happy that others will still be able to join us online via our Facebook Page and our YouTube channel

Here is a rundown of what to expect, whether you are gathering at the Y or at home online.

WHAT TO EXPECT
  • Wearing Masks and Social Distancing— The YMCA has updated their masking and social distancing policy.  People who are fully vaccinated no longer have to wear masks or social distance. We are collecting your RSVP so that we will know how to set up the chairs in the gym in a way that allows social distancing. Our teachers will also use this information to make plans for our children’s classes.

  • Each person should wash their hands on arrival.
  • After you have washed your hands, you can pick up your bread and juice for the Lord’s Supper, from the small table as you enter the gym. Please take the elements to your seat for use later in the service and dispose of the plastic containers after our worship time.
  • If you are leading an in-person prayer, please walk up to the microphone. Anytime you are using the microphone, please stand close to the mic and remove your mask so everyone can understand you better.
  • Please do not use your device to login to our steamed worship gathering via Facebook or Youtube while in the gym. Having multiple devices in the same room tuned in to the livestream can cause terrible noise feedback problems
  • If you are able, we ask everyone to wipe down their chairs with paper towel disinfectant and stack up the chairs after worship.
  • CCC will not be serving any drinks.  If you want coffee, water, etc., please bring your own from home

RSVP

If you haven’t already sent in your RSVP for worship at the Y, please fill out our RSVP Form letting us know you are going to join us at the Y, along with the names of others coming with you.  This will help us know how to set up the chairs in the gym and help us plan for our children’s classes.

COMMUNION

  • The Communion elements are placed in small plastic containers with lids in a sanitary way.
  • After you have washed your hands, you can pick up your bread and juice for the Lord’s Supper, from the small table as you enter the gym.
  • Please take the elements to your seat for use later in the service and dispose of the plastic containers after our worship time.

PRAYER REQUESTS

We won’t be passing around the Welcome Books. Instead you can make prayer requests during our “Share and Prayer” time after the sermon.  You can also send your prayer requests to info@cordovachurch.org.

OFFERING

  • You can mail in your checks to the church office (2964 Ole Bartlett CRT, STE 5, Bartlett, TN 38134)
