We are so excited that many of us will be able to gather in person this Sunday at the Y for worship. And we are  happy that others will still be able to join us online via Zoom and Facebook Live!

Here is a rundown of what to expect, whether you are gathering at the Y or at home online.

WHAT TO EXPECT

If you are tuning in via Zoom, we are using the same meeting ID and Password. Email info@cordovachurch.org for zoom information.

  • Start Time- We will start the worship experience at 9:30
  • Log in to Zoom early for Chit chat and fellowship from 9:10-9:25. (While those attending in person will be fellowshipping with each other, and our Zoomers can also fellowship with one another, it won’t be possible to talk between the 2 environments before worship service begins).
  • We will begin worship at 9:30
  • If you are leading an in-person prayer, you will walk up to the microphone.
  • If you are a Zoomer who is leading prayer, you will unmute yourself before you start talking and then mute yourself afterwards.
  • Anytime you are using the microphone, please stand close to the mic and continue wearing your mask.
  • If you are physically present, please do not use your device to login to FB Live or Zoom. Having multiple devices in the same room always causes terrible noise problems!

STAY HOME IF

As excited as everyone is about coming back to the Y, please do not allow your longing for reunion to overrule the need to be wise.  Please worship with us from home if…

  • You are feeling unwell
  • You have any of the symptoms linked to the Corona Virus
  • You are included in one of the many vulnerable categories (age, immunosuppressant, and other underlying conditions)

NO COFFEE

CCC will not be serving any drinks.  If you want coffee, water, etc., please bring your own from home

RSVP

If you haven’t already sent in your RSVP for worship at the Y, please fill out our RSVP Form to and let us know you are going to join us at the Y, along with the names of others coming with you.  This will help us know how to set up the chairs in the gym.

No Children’s Classes or Nursery

For now, we will not be offering classes for our children.  If you need to use the childcare area for diaper changes, crying babies, unruly toddlers, etc., we will need you to pay close attention to equipment and toys that are touched because we will need to sanitize everything.

COMMUNION

After you are screened and have washed your hands, you can pick up your bread and juice for the Lord’s Supper, from the counter in the Lobby. Please take the elements to your seat for use later in the service.

PRAYER REQUESTS

We won’t be passing around the Welcome Books. Instead you can make prayer requests during our “Share and Prayer” time after the sermon or you can text your prayer requests to (817) 592-6327.

SONG LYRICS

Song Lyrics will be displayed on the screen.   For those worshipping at home, our plan is to show Julia and the lyrics side by side. So hopefully you’ll be able to clearly see the lyrics on the screen. We will also send out lyric sheets that you can print off.
